PARK AVENUE PENTHOUSE APARTMENT

Our client who lives in Los Angeles bought a pied-à-terre penthouse apartment to enjoy on frequent trips to NYC. He sought greater access to the outdoors, which we created for him by opening up a wall of his apartment to City views

through a retractable glass wall system leading to a terrace.

We transformed a wall that contained a built-in fireplace to feature custom back-to-back glass fireplaces that can be viewed from the terrace as well as the interior of the apartment.

In a lengthy, meticulous process, we were proud to be awarded by the NYC Historic Landmark Commission approval to make changes to the historic facade of this significant building.

The tranquil primary bedroom is awash with light through high windows that offer privacy while overlooking the Cityscape. Doors that flank the fireplace offer easy access to the terrace.
